What people are saying

”A group of women, I among them, got together to transcend “our stuff” in dance…We danced self-consciously until we became unconscious of ourselves. We danced until we understood that it is all a dance; who we are and who we pretend to be, it’s whatever dance we choose…Many of us came in with physical complaints.,,,
I was told I’d need a [cancer] biopsy …I discovered I was not the only one who resisted coming, almost compulsively choosing to stay with my problems and myself. I was not the only one who resisted socializing… [or] whose physical and mental pain had disappeared into the dance, or whose strength and confidence and courage emerged.
What dance experience teaches us is freedom through, and from the body. The more we surrender into the dance, the more of our souls we regain.”
Kathryn - Therapist (NY)

“Sharon and Gary have created an environment [for] safe and creative ways to express and strengthen one’s confidence and self-esteem…[It] was both an enlightening and intriguing experience for me….”
Lisa - Warwick (NY)

“Meeting Sharon was a treat. She has a soothing way about her – loving, open, caring, accepting…Sharon did a terrific job in creating sacred safe space,.. I felt like each person there felt safe and comfortable, including me… Are you dancing your own dance or someone else’s is an intriguing question…”
Mary - Art store owner (CT)

“Sharon’s space is full of light and love… Sharon is an exceptionally gifted light worker who has already and will continue to inspire many people”
Amy - (CT)

“Sharon is courageous both in her faithfulness to her considerable spiritual gifts and in her commitment to furthering other’s personal and spiritual growth. Her thoughtfulness, genuine warmth and unconditional caring make her deserving of our trust and attention.”
Pat - Therapist, counselor (NY)

“I came to Sharon depressed and very unhappy about my life. Little did I know after “doing the work”, as Sharon calls it, I came to see that when I explore my beliefs and behaviors and ask myself better questions of myself, I can let go of things I think are going to hold me back. I know now that I can be happy, and when things don’t go my way sometimes, I know now that I can move through them better than I did before.”

About Our Founders
Sharon (Sudhaji) Newton

She is also an entrepreneur and speaker. Additionally, even while suffering through one or more intense traumas, she still found, and still finds, it within her empathic heart to be the primary caregiver for a loved one with dementia, and to generously volunteer her time in other ways.Sudhaji has volunteered two decades of spiritual work in India, South Africa, and across the US for the ashram in India where her own enlightenment happened. She has volunteered at addiction centers, cancer centers, hospice care centers, suicide hotlines, senior care centers, and spiritual organizations. They’ve included: Richard C Ward Addiction Treatment Center (NY), Sanfordville Elementary School (NY), Senior Source Center (NJ), You Can Thive Foundation for Breast Cancer (NY), Kean University (NJ), Bergen Community College (NJ), Mental Health Association for Orange County suicide hotline (NY), and Saint Barnabas Hospital (NJ).
In her spare time (spare?), you might find Sudhaji lost in writing, making music, trance dancing, practicing Qigong, or diving into a good book. She has also participated in Toastmasters and the Rotary Club. Sudhaji is even learning to swim, a dream she has cherished since childhood.
Gary (BuddhaKrishna) Newton
Gary loves helping others discover and utilize their own unique gifts and talents. With his remarkable ability to stay calm during the stormiest times, he excels at guiding those who are struggling toward a brighter future.

These experiences give him a deep empathy for those who find themselves in similar places. Gary has also volunteered in many of the same activities mentioned in Sudhaji’s bio. He has facilitated group meditation and talk sessions for in-patients in an addiction center, an assisted living facility, and at a senior center. He has spent many hours as a volunteer sound engineer for an ashram in India, where he also enjoys immersing himself in deep meditation—including a remarkable 21 days in complete silence 24/7!
